In Development

NOVA

Written and performed by Obehi Janice (Blindspotting on Starz; Dicktown on FX), Nova follows a Nigerian-American comedian navigating desire, pussy and power. Inspired by the tales and trials of noted provocateur Giacomo Casanova.

An initial version of Nova premiered in August 2023 as part of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, produced in partnership with the Royal Lyceum Theatre.

CANDLEWOOD LAKE

Composer Tim Phillips and playwright Carl Grose reunite for this new musical in early stages of development. Tim is co-Artistic Director of Filter Theatre Company and works extensively in film and TV composition. Carl is an actor, writer and former co-Artistic Director of Kneehigh Theatre. Their production of The Grinning Man from Bristol Old Vic transferred to the West End in 2019.

Candlewood Lake had a developmental residency at Sheridan College in Fall 2023.

CAFE SOCIETY

Cafe Society will be a fast-paced, music-led show with a live eight-piece band, based on the true story of Cafe Society at One Sheridan Square, Greenwich Village - New York’s first racially desegregated night club (1938-1949). The critically acclaimed story is being reimagined as an immersive experience by composer Alex Webb and dramaturg/director Postell Pringle.
